Refunds

Effective date: August 30, 2026

The short version

  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. The free plan shows you the full MemPro experience on free topics. After you pay, the goodwill window below may cover you.
  • As a goodwill practice, we currently let you refund your first Pro payment yourself within 14 days of the charge, and a renewal within 7 days.
  • A refund ends Pro access immediately.
  • Free topics and your learning progress are never affected.

1. Free plan

Free topics are always free: you can learn, study, and run code exercises on them without paying anything, forever. The free plan is the full MemPro experience on that content — we want you to know exactly what you are buying before you buy it.

2. Goodwill refund window

Although payments are non-refundable, we currently offer a self-serve goodwill window after each charge: 14 days for the first payment of a subscription, and 7 days for a renewal. The renewal window covers the "I forgot to cancel" case — we would rather refund you than argue.

This window is a discretionary practice, not a contractual guarantee. We may refuse a goodwill refund, where permitted by law — in particular for accounts that repeatedly subscribe, consume premium content, and refund.

3. What a refund does

A refund cancels your subscription immediately: Pro access ends right away rather than at the end of the billing period. Premium-topic access that was earned by the refunded payment is removed with it.

Everything else stays: your account, your learning progress (including progress made on premium topics), and full access to all free topics. If you subscribe again later, you pick up where you left off.

Refunds go back to your original payment method and typically arrive within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

4. Cancellation outside the window

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal. Outside the goodwill window we do not offer partial or prorated refunds; instead, your Pro access simply continues until the end of the period you paid for.

5. How to request a refund

Go to your preferences page, open the Subscription section, and choose "Request a refund". If your latest payment is inside its window, the refund is issued automatically on the spot.

6. Always refunded

Duplicate charges, charges made in error, and charges for a service that was materially broken are refunded regardless of the window above.

7. Your statutory rights

Nothing on this page limits the consumer rights you have under applicable law, including withdrawal rights for consumers in the EU/EEA. Where the law requires a refund, we provide it.

8. Changes

We may change or withdraw the goodwill window at any time; if we do, we update the effective date above. Your statutory rights are unaffected by any change. See also our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
